Books We Accept:
We currently accept a limit of 20 books in a variety of genres , all books must be in gently read condition , no tears, stamps or markings on any pages.
Book Condition:
Books must be in good to excellent condition We ask that books brought in be free of smoke, foul odours, no water damage, no obvious markings, or highlighted ( Even though I do love to do this to my own trophy reads in my personal library),
Hardcover books must have their dust jacket.
Books Not Accepted:
We do not take in textbooks, manuals, school books, encyclopedias, library books, or magazines.
Credit For Books:
We do not purchase but we do offer in store credit, kept on file to be used on other previously read books. We will go through your books, based on condition add to your account what is deemed acceptable.
Our typical credit is based on a few factors. As an example, PreReads would retail at 50% of the cover. Your credit applied would vary on age, condition or date published. We reduce the credit based off of that if the books has other wear and tear on it, credit would then range from $1 to $4.00 per say.
We will go through your books brought in while you are in the store, this shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes.
What can I use my credit on? In store credit may only be applied to other used books. We do not apply to credit to new books or merchandise in store.
All used books are labelled with PR or stamped by the store (previously read condition)
